This is the only time in the entire series where Ed cries (aside from when he’s a little kid). I don’t know about anybody else, but if you think about everything that Ed has gone through, he must be so strong to not break down. I had never fully realized just how tortured a soul Ed is. But when Hoenheim managed to bring Ed to tears, it really hit me just all the shit Ed has gone through. And I cried with him.

This really is distressing. Like it was almost triggering for me? Because I work with special needs people every summer and it felt like he was one of them and when he didn’t want to be touched and I couldn’t help him…. Just fucking no you don’t do that. I’m really upset right now. He’s so precious. Like… I can’t even handle it I’m seriously about to cry because of this.
